Ceux qui marchent
Lara Hubinont graduated in 2004 from the Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD). Since then, she has had the opportunity to work in various theaters with directors such as Jasmina Douieb, Sylvie De Braekeleer, Adrian Brine, Jules-Henri Marchant, Julie Annen, Michel Bernard, Benedetto Sicca, Matthew Lenton, and Valérie Joyeux.
She regularly works in young audiences theater with various companies such as Pan!, La Berlue, Les pieds dans le vent, and Faux comme il Faut.
She has directed Iphigénie ou Le péché des Dieux by M. Azama, Hanokh’s Cabaret based on H. Levin, Cendres sur les mains by L. Gaudé, Holly, which she co-wrote with Matthieu Donck, Ceux qui marchent dans l’obscurité by H. Levin, and Deux valises pour le Canada by L. Nabulsi.
In 2008, she completed a year of training at the Centre d’Études Théâtrales (CET) and obtained a teaching qualification at IAD. She also participated in the 19th edition of the École des Maîtres with the English director Matthew Lenton, with whom she worked in Scotland in his company, Vanishing Point.
Recently, she appeared in the series La Trêve, produced by RTBF and directed by Matthieu Donck.
She leads the company Ceux qui Marchent, named after her first creation, Ceux qui marchent dans l’obscurité, which premiered in 2009 at Atelier 210. The company presented its first young audiences production, Chhht…, at Huy in 2018, touring about seventy dates in Belgium. Created in co-production with Les pieds dans le vent and Pierre de Lune, this first show received support from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the Cultural Center of Braine-L’Alleud, and La Montagne Magique.
Her third production, Kosmos, was created in co-production with Entre chiens et loups and Pan! (la compagnie). It has been touring in Belgium and France since 2020.
