Les châteaux de mes tantes is an interactive installation that aims to create a memory box of women from Tunisian, Algerian and Moroccan immigrant families.

Over 3 days at Espace Magh, we danced, ate, chatted, laughed and cried.

The discussions that animated and punctuated these days of exchange between women gave rise to the creation of an installation (an interactive object, conceived as a Maghrebian jukebox). The installation has been integrated into a convivial tea room setting, where you can listen to the testimonies, comfortably seated on cushions surrounded by photos and videos of the womens, produced by Pauline Vanden Neste.

“In a scenography of nuanced tones and an immersive sound design, this choreographic performance for a dancer and a composer takes us on a journey through a dance that brings movement, electronic music, and fragments of poetic texts into dialogue. With an impulse that is both libertarian and precise, it presents, in the present moment and for our greatest joy, the musical swirls of Debussy.
