AMER | AMER
In AMER | AMER it is a relationship that is born before our eyes between the performer and a guest from the audience.
He is already there, waiting for her. “She’ joins him from her place in the audience, to be his mother. “She’, or someone else – we don’t know.
He teaches her the gestures, the looks, the few words. They start again. They repeat.
It is the story of an embrace, an embrace in a car. They don’t quite manage to say goodbye that evening.
Behind the few words exchanged, there is something that wants to be said and that remains unresolved.
Maybe an I love you, maybe something else; but they have to go about their business and everyone knows it.
Then it starts again.
AMER | AMER proposes a play for two strangers, dense and fragile, between performance and theatre.
