collusiion
collusiion is a performance in two phases, one inside and the other in public space, for three (real) deliverers, two (real) actors and one (real) stuntman.
The audience is invited to join a group of performers in a space where they are practising how to fall, learning how to throw yourself to the ground, how to withstand impact, how to do a beautiful glide.
Later, in the street, there will be a collision. One of them is going to be hit by an SUV that has not seen them. We are excpecting it. Spectators are invited to share this same space, this same time, in a proximity with the performers, each looking and being looked at.
Starting from an attraction for action movies, the experiment of confinement and the meeting with deliverers from the online platformeconomy, Jérôme Michez searchs how image and empathy work together, activating or cancelling one another. It is by mixing reality and representation that he tries to rekindle empathy ; as well as to rekindle the will to put ourselves in danger to go toward the other.
