Limit to your care
Limit to your care is a visual theatre production centred around the presence of a Love Doll on stage.
As a manufactured object, this life-sized doll becomes a mirror of the ways in which we love, desire, project, become attached and consume. It invites us to reconsider the way we invest in every relationship.
On stage, in a ballet of gestures and movements, five performers explore the uses of this doll-object, without uttering a word*. We witness a succession of scenes in which analogies successively transform the doll into an object, partner, presence or surface for projection.
As witnesses to these interactions, the audience is above all referred back to their own opinions, interpretations and feelings. Each person is invited to immerse themselves in the unease and to engage with ambivalent sensations: fear, discomfort and rejection mingle with curiosity, empathy and identification.
*Sentences are projected onto the stage
