PARADE is a performance for 7 artists on stage, a moving celebration born from the desire to come together as a group.
In a fanfare-like atmosphere, dance and brass instruments spark joy, energy, and shared experience. The performers gather to prepare a parade and invite the audience to participate in this final rehearsal together. They move, attune to one another, observe, and support each other. The gestures are simple, sometimes fragile, always sincere. Here, movement never happens alone: it is built with and towards the other, through listening and adjustment.
The word “parade” evokes popular gatherings, communal celebration, and dancing processions. But in circus jargon, it also refers to the act of watching over someone “faire parade” protecting another to prevent a fall. This dual meaning runs throughout the performance: being together to celebrate, but also to support each other, help one another, and accept not having full control.
Driven by movement and live music, the artists revel and share a collective energy, nourished by their individuality, their attempts, and their shared impulses. Coming from diverse artistic backgrounds, this eclectic group builds its own language at the intersection of dance, circus, theater, and technical creation.
PARADE is a joyful piece, a contemporary ritual in which one physically experiences what it means to connect, to trust, and to build collective movement—a call to make a world together.
