Emilienne Flagothier is 29 years old but is in her eighth earthly reincarnation.
At INSAS (BE) she directed montages of texts by Cioran, Racine, Marie-Madeleine and Queen, as well as silent performances. In 2015 she wrote a thesis entitled Aesthetics of the Void – reflections on a contemporary theatre genre and philosophy of life. Since 2016 she has been performing in Dominique Roodthoof’s Thinker’s Corner, a street philosophy performance. In 2019 she performs in Vita Siyo ya watoto (War is not child’s play) by Frédérique Lecomte (Goma, DRC – KVS). In 2019 she directed We should be dancing, a dance show that copies children (Théâtre de Liège & Mars-Mons arts de la scène), and is currently dramaturge on FORUM, by Nicole Stankiewicz. She is also a member of the collective ASBL-ASBL, is preparing a solo show about sex, and will soon play in Fantômes, by Daniel Schmitz (collective La Station).
