Kholektif Zouf
Entre Chiens et Loups

Brought together by the creation of Moutoufs (2017), five artists—each born to a Moroccan father and a Belgian mother*—came together to form the *Kholektif Zouf. Since then, their paths have continued to intersect, with each contributing to one another’s creations. As a thread pulled from Moutoufs, Othmane Moumen leads the creation of a solo puppet performance, Parti en fumée, directed by Jasmina Douieb, with outside perspectives offered by the other Zoufs.

Ten years after Moutoufs, the creation of Mémoires (IMemories_) continues this momentum, seeking to further unravel the threads of what unites us and what sets us apart in how we relate to the world—through the lens of our heritage and the (non-)transmission of the dual culture we carry. Mémoires will focus on the theme of memory (in all its forms) and the promise made to the child we once were.
