There will be a collision.
In a non-dedicated urban space – on a parking lot, under an overpass, in the street – a group of performers practice receiving an impact and taking the fall. They are delivery girls/boys, stuntwomen/men and actors. One of them is going to be hit by an SUV that has not seen her/him. We expect it. Spectators are invited to share this same space, this same time, in a proximity with the performers.
With collusiion, Jérome Michez works on the image of a collision for its spectacular aspect and its immediate capacity to provoke empathy and identification. But also for what the spectacle of danger obliterates of the insidious social violence at play.
The show will be created in 2024.
