What if we reinvent our funeral rites?
What if we decide to reappropriate our dead?
What if we refuse to leave our dead in the hands of scientific rationalism?
What if we refuse to leave our dead in the hands of capitalism?

As an artist, I would like to try to invent, create and imagine new ways of thinking about death. As a human being, I would like to find meaning in it, but above all beauty.
I have therefore decided to direct my research towards those who think differently about death and who want to develop new ways of “living with our dead”.

If there is one thing you have learned during these years of service to the bereaved, it is not to judge. Who were you to judge? This was not the time or the place. So, if people wanted to listen to a Johnny Hallyday song to end a ceremony, well, you weren’t going to deny them that by suggesting Fauré’s Requiem instead. No judgement of taste in these circumstances. Never. Keep your mouth shut. Learn.
