In Je suis une montagne (I’m a mountain), the set is inhabited by heat, rain, wind, muffled rumblings and the smells of plain and desert. The light will draw dawns, halos, and bright suns, coating the bodies with its strength before withdrawing and letting the night come.
Placed at the heart of the stage, in levitation, spectators are invited to let the elements flow through them. They will be trees, rocks and mountains, and the elements will live around, through and in them. Je suis une montagne invites us to experience or world differently, through a prism other than our own. How would we perceivethe world if we were a tree, if we were a moutain ? By inviting us to let go and join forces, an by writing th bodies of the elements and of the spectators, this immersive experience offers an experience of the present.

On the occasion of the performances, Éric Arnal Burtschy will speak at the conference Re-sensing the World on Monday, March 24, at 6 PM in the Atrium Auditorium, alongside Géraldine Savary. A researcher and associate director of URCOM, Géraldine Savary led the research and development of the scents used in the performance.
Later, the artist will lead the workshop Creating Scents on March 29, from 2 PM to 6 PM, inviting participants to design their own personal scent.
