What would we remember if the trees were to disappear as well? Would we create a new sacred to which we would kneel? Would we begin to venerate trees turned into relics, making cathedrals a tumulus of our own world ?
Remains is an immersive show about the human footprint on the environment, questioning our vision of nature as a resource or an ornament that tends to eradicate the diversity of living things.
Rooted in a deep concern for climate change and the disappearance of species, Remains aims to bring a sensitive dimension that complements rational public discourse. Carried by a strong visual and sound dramaturgy, at the crossroads of performance, installation and digital arts, Remains aims to offer a potentially transformative experience that questions our relationship with nature.
Inviting spectators to take their place beneath the roots of this monumental tree, the immersive show evokes a world whose past we have protected, but whose present we have forgotten.
